Let Us Help Resource
You as You Care for Others

Burnout and vicarious trauma exist as universal risks for helping professionals exposed regularly to the suffering or stress of those whom they serve. The pandemic, together with social justice and climate crises of recent months, exacerbate the risks for professionals who are attempting to meet intensified need and demand.

This 2-hour workshop integrates research findings and clinical wisdom to support you in better understanding your own risks and resilience related to burnout and vicarious trauma. You will take away immediately actionable strategies to limit and counteract the toll of such exposure while also inspiring your own vicarious resilience and post-traumatic growth.

“[This]  topic is so vital this year in particular!  Watching and listening to the two presenters model specific techniques throughout the workshop was an added benefit. It underscored and affirmed ...evidence-based material...especially learning that in the brain, abundant compassion is a positive and that empathy is where the fatigue can occur. I also liked knowing that I’d be receiving the slides and material after the program. It allowed me to relax and listen better. “
